Additional Information
Here you’ll find all the extra (but no less important 😉) information.
We’ll update this page regularly if new questions come up!

The key highlights
of the wedding
We’ve gathered all the address details on the « Getting There » page so no one gets lost!
In summary, over the three days:
- Friday will take place in Bordeaux
- Saturday and Sunday, we’ll head to Château de Cantecort in Gaujac.
To see the detailed schedule for each day, everything is gathered on the « Our Wedding » page.
And most importantly, you’ll find the times we’ll be meeting you at each location!
No, of course, there’s no obligation!
We’d love to have you at every moment, but we totally understand that there might be schedule, budget, or transportation constraints. The most important thing is to be able to share at least part of the weekend with you.
Just let us know in your RSVP which moments you’ll be attending (it’s requested in the form 😉). For example, you can come to the civil ceremony without staying for lunch, or join us only on Saturday, etc.
A little tip if you’re unsure about which day not to miss: Saturday is the « big day »! 🎉
Wear whatever you like! Our only « dress code » for these three days is: Love yourself! The most important thing for us is that you feel beautiful and confident in your outfit.
That said, we know some of you have asked for a few pointers, especially for Saturday, out of fear of being « too much, » « not enough, » or out of sync with the vibe. So, we’ve prepared a little moodboard for inspiration, and here’s a hint: a « cocktail » outfit that makes you feel elegant without overdoing it, or a beautiful colorful outfit (pastel tones if you fancy them) will be perfect.
Again, this is just to give a little idea to those who aren’t sure about what to wear on Saturday. But really, it’s totally free—feel fabulous in whatever color you choose (yes, even black or white since there won’t be a bridal gown, hehe)!
There isn’t really a specific theme, but you’ve probably noticed this little motif popping up everywhere:
It represents the Korean word 인연 (inyeon), which doesn’t have a direct translation in French but can be associated with ideas like « destiny, » « connection, » or « emotional bond » between people.
It’s a word with a beautiful meaning and, for us, it perfectly represents our wedding: the bond that unites the two of us, but also the connections we have with you, which have shaped the people we are today. Plus, this word comes from Korea, a country we absolutely love (yes, we know you’re surprised by this info, haha), so it adds a little Korean touch to our wedding.
Haha, yes! But don’t worry! Even though we do listen to a lot of K-pop, we want everyone to have a great time and have fun. That’s also why we’re asking you in the RSVP form to share a song that will definitely get you dancing (even though we can’t play them all).
But of course, there will be some K-pop touches, so if you’d like to dive into our world (and not leave us alone on the dance floor when it plays), we’ve put together a little (not so little) playlist for you to check out if you’re interested!
Depending on your preferred music platform:
– Apple Music
– Spotify
– Deezer
– Youtube
– Amazon Music
And if you have any favorite songs, feel free to share them with us—we love talking about k-pop.
If there are any specific details about the ceremony, we (or our loved ones) will let you know in advance.
As for photos during the ceremony, we’d like you to keep your phones and cameras aside during these moments. A professional photographer will be there to capture every instant, so you can enjoy the ceremony without distractions! Of course, you’ll be able to take photos afterward for the rest of the day.
(And just between us, having phones out during the photographer’s shots can spoil the picture a bit, don’t you think? It’s a shame…)
We love answering your wedding questions, so don’t hesitate to ask!
We really recommend joining the WhatsApp group
we’ve created. Don’t worry, we won’t spam you, but it’s a convenient way for us to send out info to everyone at once. You can also chat among yourselves (create private groups if needed), and maybe someone else has the same question as you, so we can share the answer with everyone!
Otherwise, you can contact us via message at 06 66 33 72 95 (Guillaume), 07 64 81 23 24 (Alex), or via our shared email: guialex.bd@gmail.com.

We’re looking forward to receiving your response by March 20, 2025, and it’s super simple, just fill out, the form right here. It’s a bit long, but it helps us gather all the necessary info to organize the wedding properly.
To make things easier on our end, we kindly ask that you only submit the form once you’re sure about your answers. That way, we avoid last-minute changes that could complicate things…
But most importantly, please don’t forget about us, haha!
Yes!
The first form was really just for us to gather addresses and get an idea.
The final response we’ll consider is the one on the form currently on the website. It allows us to gather important details like your dietary restrictions, which events you’ll be attending, and more.
As mentioned above, it’s best to submit the form once you have all the details and are sure about your answers and presence at the different events.
However, we understand that unexpected things can happen, so if you need to make any changes, feel free to let us know as soon as possible. That way, we can adjust on our end!
Yes, you can bring your plus one! In the form, there’s a section where you can indicate who your guest is, along with details about their attendance (for example, if they’ll be joining you at the same events, etc.).
As with the previous question, we kindly ask that you fill out the form only once you’re certain about your answers. After submitting it, it won’t be possible to add a person later.
You are welcome to bring your children, and there’s a section in the form to indicate their attendance.
We want parents to enjoy the wedding to the fullest, so we’re providing some info in advance to help you plan:
There will be no babysitter or childcare services available.
Unfortunately, the venue does not offer a separate room or special furniture for children. (However, if needed, we can offer the newlyweds’ apartment for a nap during the evening, but please note it’s not adjacent to the reception hall as seen on the map).
Unfortunately, pets will not be allowed… We’ll also have to leave Lys & Lune at home; they won’t be able to attend our ceremony.

Transport
and accomodation
On the « Getting there » page, you’ll find all the details about how to get to the various locations of the wedding.
We also want to remind you that the wedding WhatsApp community is here to help you with transportation arrangements: carpooling, coordinating with others, etc. It’s a great way to connect with other guests who might be traveling a similar route.
Important note: We will be setting up shuttle services for Saturday night to take you back to your accommodations after the party. We highly recommend you use this service (let’s even say it’s mandatory 😉). A next question will go into more detail about this service, so make sure to check it out!
We really want to make it as simple and easy as possible for everyone, without the need to rent a car or complicate things.
That’s why we’re counting on the WhatsApp community
to facilitate carpooling and support each other. If you’re not comfortable directly asking for a ride, feel free to let us know, and we’ll help connect you with others.
Plus, with the shuttle service for Saturday night, everyone will be able to head back whenever they want without having to wait for a carpool or force anyone else to leave earlier!
Yes, private and free parking is available for the Friday lunch restaurant, as well as for Saturday and Sunday at Château de Cantecort. However, for the ceremony at the town hall, unfortunately, there is no free parking near the Hôtel de Ville (but there are paid options available).
All practical information can be found here.
As mentioned earlier, absolutely! The schedule is still being finalized, and we’ll share the details as soon as we know more.
We really wanted to set up this service to ensure that everyone, including us and you, can enjoy the evening stress-free. We highly recommend using it!
This service has only benefits: you can return at the time you prefer, independently and safely. No need to worry about organizing who drives whom, especially for those who carpooled to the venue (since everyone arrives at the same time) but may want to leave at different hours.
It’s simple, convenient, and reassuring for everyone.
The only small « consideration » is planning ahead for the next morning: either leave a car at your accommodation to return to the venue for brunch or arrange for someone already at the venue to pick you up on Sunday morning.
Unfortunately, staying overnight at Château de Cantecort is not possible.
However, there are plenty of accommodation options near the venue, which we have gathered on the Where to Stay page.
You’ll find listings for places near the château, as well as in Bordeaux—perfect for those coming to the civil ceremony on Friday or extending their stay before/after the wedding.
This list includes a mix of our own research and suggestions from the venue owner. It’s not exhaustive, and since we haven’t personally stayed in these locations, we can’t guarantee their quality—but we hope it helps make your search easier!
Our Tips for Booking Accommodations:
- Group up as much as possible! (WhatsApp community to the rescue!) This will help keep costs down and make carpooling easier.
- For hotels: If you’re interested in staying at a hotel, talk to us before booking—if enough people are interested in the same place, we might be able to negotiate a discount.
- Let us know your reservations! We’ll update the list and help connect guests if spots become available in shared accommodations.
And don’t forget—no need to worry about getting back after the Saturday night party since a shuttle service will be available! 🚐
If several people are interested in this option, we can discuss it with the owner to see if it’s possible. However, we can’t guarantee that it will be allowed. Let us know if this is something you’d consider, and we’ll check! ⛺😊

Yes! There will be vegetarian options available throughout the wedding weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). In the RSVP form, you can indicate if you prefer a vegetarian meal.
However, for other dietary needs (vegan, gluten-free, etc.), we can’t guarantee that specific options will be available. We’ll pass along any dietary restrictions mentioned in the RSVP form to our caterers, but we can’t promise they’ll be able to accommodate all requests.
If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out so we can discuss possible solutions together! 😊
Yes, absolutely! If you’re unsure whether the provided options will suit your dietary needs, you’re welcome to bring your own meal. Just let us know in advance so we can organize everything properly and avoid any confusion on the big day. 😊
Yes! A kids’ menu is planned for children (and for teenagers who prefer it). Their meal will be served during the cocktail hour, before the main dinner, so they don’t have to eat too late. This means they won’t be seated at the table with us during the dinner service. 😊
Just to reassure everyone: even though we’re not big drinkers ourselves, there will be plenty of options for everyone—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks!
We don’t have the full program of activities just yet, but if you have ideas or requests, feel free to reach out to the witnesses, bridesmaids, or our families. They can let you know what’s already planned (or not) and tell you how you can get involved if you’d like to contribute. 😊
We’re thinking about setting up an online gallery where everyone can share their pictures taken during the day (except during the ceremony, that’s a big no-no 😄).
We’ll keep you posted and provide access if we go ahead with this idea!
Thank you so much, it means a lot to us ❤️
We don’t have a wedding registry, but for those who would like to contribute to our future projects, there will be a donation box available on Saturday. For those who prefer a digital option, there is also an online gift fund available [here].
And most importantly, thank you for being there with us!
