Iduladha Holiday Ends, Persija Back Exercises
Persija Jakarta players will return to training after getting the Iduladha 1438 Hijri holiday for two days. Skuat Persija gathered at Sutasoma Field, Halim Perdanakusuma, Saturday (2/9/2017) afternoon Situs Judi.
Persija held this exercise ahead of team departure to Tenggarong, East Kalimantan, for the match against Mitra Kukar, Friday (08/09/2017). Left-back Macan Kemayoran Rezaldi Hehanusa is sure to join after defending Indonesia U-22 national team in SEA Games 2017 Kuala Lumpur.
“We respect the players who celebrate the big day of Islam, there are some who want to celebrate in the hometown with the family,” said assistant coach of Persija, Mustaqim was quoted from the official club website.
Despite two days off, Mustaqim asked his players to keep fit. He confirmed the level of fitness so one factor that could displace players from the main squad.
“Within 2x 24 hours if the professional players do not have activity, then the fitness will decrease. Therefore, we ask, players still hold a fitness training during the two-day holiday,” said the former national team player of the 90’s.
“We are making serious preparations ahead of Mitra Kukar and Bali United’s opponents,” said Mustaqim. “We need full concentration and the players have to be well maintained.
Currently Persija occupy the position of six league standings 2017. If you win in the week-to-23 match against Mitra Kukar, they have a chance to penetrate the top four.
